How my team and it's ridiculous ERA is 5-7 is beyond me.

Well, so far my strategy for this season (rely on the bullpen early and often) sucks like a Hoover. Gave up the lead late in the game 3 times this week, resulting in a 1 - 5 sim.

Finally coerced 1B Vance Miller to sign a reasonable contract extension...Possibly his last one. Less than a month ago he wanted $14M x 3 yrs. I waited him out and got it down to roughly $3M x 3 yrs, which is still a little more than I wanted. But I'll take it.

Big, early series coming up against the Dinos.

Geez another 1-5 sim...now 2-10. Sad thing is the starting pitching is playing well. Nobody is hitting the ball and the relievers can't pitch.

We needed to make some off season hitting changes and we didn't, now we suffer!

Bizarre glitchy stuff this week... for no reason and despite using my 7-day lineup... it tried to start Hinchy in back to back days... and it started Lukies over Martinez in 5 of 6 games. That's totally jacked.

Not saying it would have mattered... but it sucks.

Did anyone else have issues with their Starters throwing back-to-back days? Weird.

On the plus side, it means I get Magness and Arrendondo 1-2 @ Washington.

We looked very good offensively and defensively. Looks like Pat Washington may be the real deal. Also Ford looks like he may be serviceable in a PT role at third. I'm thinking that our infield may be set so, now on to outfield. I'll let everyone know now as this year progresses, I'll likely be ready to make deals for outfielders. Keep in touch.
