For the third straight year, California will lose less than 100 games.

And be on the lookout for SP Victoro Diaz as a Refreshing New Brew candidate. Top 20 prospect will be starting from day one in the Kodiaks rotation.

Maine breaks Pittsburgh record for wins. Windy City sweeps Maine in the Brewmasters. Jeff Longstreet wins Postseason MVP.

Do you think Maine is that good or the DL is that bad?

I think we're a little bit improved over last year and that Pittsburgh got worse.

          My key offseason moves were:

          OUT:
          Fallon
          Brudenell
          Kelly
          Longstreet

          IN:
          Iliquez
          Medine
          Tilbrook
          Ortiz
          Suarez (minors)
          Maccabe (healthy)

The big keys for Maine are whether A) we can stay healthy and B) Suarez can replace Brudenell.

Pete Miller will own all of your souls. I really think he's gonna break out this season in a big way.

I will have three 15 game winners in Abe, Avery, and Gauina.

My bullpen will stink worse than three day old skank. Clay knows what I'm talking about here.

My offense will not miss Adron. Take your shitty deal Ernie. We offered you more years and more cash to re-up, but you kept on telling us it would take more coin to sign you. Enjoy the herpes. Looks like the price was wrong, BITCH!

Gonna get bold here. Real bold. Hiraki will make it through the season and play in 140+ games. Book it.

Not really a bold prediction, but Rex Knight will make it to the big club at some point this year. Probably when Hiraki goes down (whoops!). I'm really interested to see what he does in ST. But he wont be in Indy to ride the pine.

We will reach the playoffs again, but obviously we'll have to win the division, which will be tough.

            This should be interesting.

I agree... hell... you have O'Moore and Corrigan... that's 65 games that like your teams chances in the first 7 innings right there. Just curious if you thought you'd feast on your division with Pittsburgh starting their rebuild on the fly.

Are you implying that I know what 3 day old skank smells like OR that my bullpen was awful last season???? Both are true. Just curious which way you were going with it.

Hmm, the first, but point taken.

Hmmmm... I like the challenge. However, sadly, my posts will likely go down when we launch the redesigned site because I can just BLOG on the front page and babble there.

I'll give it my best though.

Hey, I like the idea of this babbling on the front page. When does the redesign go live?

There's been a slight delay because Andrew "invested" the new server money at Foxwoods.

Andrew can obviously speak on it... but I think we're trying to move to the new Server in March and the site redesign with it. It's pretty sweet. I love the new front page.

Wow, sounds sweet. It'll be really nice when the rest of us can see it.

                              -I'll win the Wild Card

-Gremades, Buzzell, Haydon will combine for at least 100 home runs and 300 RBI

-Pete Hampton will win the DL New Brew

-Tommy Lang has an ERA under 4.00

                              -Starters' ERA under 4.25

                              -----------------------------------------------------

I got rid of a shit load, but I'm still confident in my team this year. I still have one of the best 3-4-5 trios in the league and I have still have some good pitchers. My outfield and the bullpen sans Simmonds/Sato will be an issue for me, though. I still see 85-88 wins this year.
