I know the utility isn't live yet, but I'll post who my official pick soon. Just give me time to write-up a little something to give it some dramatic flair. I'm pretty happy with the pick, I'm just a little worried that I'll have to do something crazy at #9.

If I picked #1 I'd be torn between what looks like the cant miss SP or the position player that IF my scout is right....and I just don't know if he is, could be the greatest hitter in BLB history.

I don't think I'd have the balls to take the hitter though.

Thats why I love this, my scout would say your scout is insane. my scout may suck but we'll all find out in 5 years!

My pick is in: Don Leonard, 20 year old SP out of Rhode Island. My organization is much better stocked at pitcher, but it was very hard to pass on Leonard. He looks like a stud and you can never have enough pitching.

THat's a good pick on a few levels. He's a really strong pitcher (IMO) and really nicely developed at this point. Whether you'd choose to or not, you COULD start him at AA easily, and arguably AAA. No reason to rush... but I think he's a good pick.

Unfortunately, my scout only likes 9 guys a lot, so it looks like the Millers 1st round curse continues.

My scout says the same thing. Not sure if we're allowed to post ratings after picks, but I'll go rouge. He's got him at 7-5-6, with current ratings of 4-3-3. Good stuff there.

I think at the end of the day I would've done the same. Now if my 'greatest hitter in BLB history' is still there when I pick I'll know that my scout sucks, but I'd have to take him anyway.

I too liked Leonard a lot and would have picked him if Spectre had picked someone else by Saturday or so. But yesterday I changed my mind and I decided I was going to take the hitter my scout likes best even if both he and Leonard were still there.

I am very reluctant to take a 17 year-old 1B with this pick but there were several things about the scouting reports I have received that make it impossible for me to resist taking ...
