Best value of the offseason: Indy gets G. Tibaldi for 800,000.

Compared to Noboa gets 30 mill that's a steal.

        Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.... worst off-season ever.

At least next sim we pass 1/1 and should get a new scouting.

According to my scout Noboa is much better. And the comparison is more like 800k to 7.5mil.

Yeah, thanks J. I was surprised no one else was after him, but I'll take him. Never did I think I'd get him for that price, so good get for me, IMO.

He was going to be the starter in CF when Hiraki was dealt, but everyone that showed interest backed off, so he'll be the backup instead.

If Hiraki he can stay healthy for the most part of the next three years and perform as he has, he'll be a bargain. If not, I'll continue to hate him and he'll be a regular participant in the dunk tank beyond the centerfield wall.

Injury + Extremely Low Demands = Talent Hit

I think people were probably waiting till after the 1/1/86 "rescout" before they made an offer.

I've been waiting for the 1/1/86 "rescout" before making a single offer.

Also keeping my fingers crossed that by then some big names reduce demands.

Have we ever seen anyone lower demands before Spring Training? I've never seen it.

PS on the Tibaldi thing.... even if he did take a hit $800K is worth a gamble.

Yeah, I really wanted him as a fourth OF'er, and after the Hiraki stuff fell through, thats what he'll be. Hopefully he digs it, as he was still looking to start.

We didnt really have the cash to spend on any big name guys after the trade with Pitt, so we needed to fill in a couple of depth spots, and this was one of them. I wasnt looking for this to be a world beater type of trade or anything though.

That being said, I am comfortable with him playing in center everyday should the need arise.

We'll see what happens on 1/1.

Damn, still can't get any ML guys to sign, but I've got some solid FA depth.
