Experienced a weird bug this week. The transaction log said I signed Brian Greenham to a 3 year contract extension for $12m. This was surprising to me since he was a FA and I only offered him 1 year, $1m. He was still listed in the free agent list but had the contract extension listed on his player page. I deleted the extension and my offer for him so he is still available as a FA. The only thing I can think of that caused it is that I offered Eddie Taylor an extension for the exact length and amount that Greenham signed for so maybe the offers got crossed up. Who knows.

The league file is up but the html is going to take a little longer tonight because I'm updating the history. The fix to the league history appears to have been succesful. We now have 428 players in the retired players list including all the guys we were missing. The leaderboards are also correct now.

I got a "fan reaction to the loss of Troy Sisk" message, his salary got taken out of my payroll, but he's still showing up on my roster.

Not sure what's going on with this. It says he has a minor league contract now. Any idea what his contract was before?

I'm pretty sure it was 5.5 or 5.6 million with a team option for next year at 10.6

Maybe he just really doesn't want to leave.

Yeah, I also lost 10 points of fan interest for "losing" Troy Sisk. I was at 55 before the trade

Is there a way to manually fix that? I expect my fan interest to go up from where I was with the acquisition of Sisk.

I also have 5.6 million in player expenses (Sisk's contract), which probably means somehow Sisk was released from my team and placed on Pittsburgh's roster again.

OK, I edited him back over to Mississippi and gave him a 1 year contract for $5.6m. I deleted the $5.6m in player expenses and returned your fan interest to 55. Hopefully it sticks this time.

There seems to be another bug with all these contracts. The one Corrigan signed is retarded. Talk about a hometown discount.

Andrew, did you re-upload the file? If you changed it after the file up-load and then imported the team files you would see the weirdness with Sisk.

EDIT: except that woudn't explain the fan interest in Mississippi.

Part of me would love to see a list of the Pitchers in the BLB that are going to make more than Teagan Corrigan over the next 4 years... but... a bigger part doesn't want to know because I'm on that list at least once.

I'm not sure if this makes a good argument for the longer sims that start later in FA.

I made one offer this sim. I offered more than his asking price. He came back with the "I'm offended" email.... yet his Demands are still exactly the same.

I wish FA had an almost eBay quality. Where you could put in your starting bid and your best bid... then it did it all dyanamically. I know it's not realistic because people adjust on the fly... but I don't care... I said it anyway!

Corrigan's deal is practically the same amount of money that Parongao got from me during the season.

Other than that, no big news. I've got a couple offers out there, but nothing that amazing. I'd love to get some of these guys, but I'm not paying $20 mil per season.

Random question/whining- is it bad to argue my fan interest should be higher than what I was at before I got Sisk? If losing him causes my fan interest to go down 10, I should get a small bump in fan interest as I was at 55 before the trade.

It's not a huge deal, just something I wanted to ask.

No, somethings wrong. It should definetly be higher than before acquiring him.
