As far as O'Connelan and Tribe's contracts, they weren't really bad at all. Tribe was only signed for this year, and O'Connelan only had a year left for $16.5 million. Helps my financial situation out, but now I need another SP.

        Congrats to Maine.

Too bad Carolina beat me in 7, I think the Bats would of atleast shown up for the Brewmasters.

Lanbin retired. He said he was going to retire months ago. Had a great run. My budget and fan loyalty both went up. Good days in Washington.

Exactly what I expected to happen. Maine is on an entirely different level. Maybe one of these seasons he'll fall off, but I don't see it coming anytime soon. It's like facing an all-star team. Congrats Andrew. At least we'll always have 1981.

What's with less than 30k showing up the games in Maine? Even their fans are bored at this point. Hell, even my fans didn't show up for this series.

The good news for me is my budget went up and we've got some money to play around with. Not sure what we'll be after, we've got plenty of holes to fill on this squad.

And I think that should change.
He was a great coach with a helluva a lot of experience. How on earth are you supposed to automatically get another coach who had his experience? I think the game is very realistic in that aspect.

No, the change that was made was that you could edit your offers and therefore hiring staff became more like FA. But, you can't steal a coach that's under contract... that wouldn't make any sense.

By the way. Congrats, Maine. This guy is going to rule this league for a while, I see.

Malachi Stiver, who turned down his $7mm guaranteed for next year, is now asking for $19.5mm a year for the next two seasons.

Didn't he learn anything from Jason Varitek?

Hmm... Stiver plays Catcher right? I just lost a 20 million a year catcher who put me horribly in the red...

I think its a perfect fit!

Damn, I think my budget went down. I'm really curious, is there any way to see previous years budgets?

Mine went up almost 3 million...still won't have much to make a splash in FA though, which is problematic.

Before this sim I had $20mm for extensions, now I have $15mm. I'm only assuming thats because my budget was decreased, but maybe its something else.
