I expected Summers to win, but I thought the voting would be a lot closer.

Summers got 18 or 22 1st Place Votes. Carrillo got the other 4 - and also only appeared on 16 of 22 ballots (which seemed low).

As far as breaking down the Avery/Ortiz tie....

            - They both appeared on all 22 ballots
            - Ortiz got 10 1st Place Votes to Avery's 6
            - Avery got 13 2nd place votes and only 3 in 3rd
            - Ortiz got only 5 2nd place votes and 7 in 3rd

I wish Avery was on my team like you listed him as being.

Why? You'd just give him a $100,000,000 extension then put him on your trading block.

                        I went:

                        1. Brode
                        2. Avery
                        3. Ortiz

I thought Brode would win in a landslide.

I thought Ortiz was going to take this one, his slow September really hurt him at the end.

                            Mine was the same.

I was hoping Brode would win. If I remember right Avery & Brode were very close in ERA. Avery led in W's but (if I remember right) Brode was better for K's, BB & WHIP.

Overall all 3 players had great seasons so any of them deserved to win.

I'm surprised. I thought Brody was clearly superior. Or how does that go in this league? Clearly less inferior?
