Did the HTML not load correctly? Some stuff is missing.

    --

    Catcher Jerry Fortin. 6/18, .333, 1.262 OPS, 3 doubles, 2 HRs, 7 RBI, 3 BB.

For some reason I felt like starting LF Miguel Angel Padilla was due for an injury, so I placed Fortin (who has never really played OF) as his backup. The first game, MAP gets hurt for seven weeks and Fortin tears it up.

    Team of destiny.

I voted you as GM of the year. After this teenage temper tantrum I'd like my vote back.

Congrats to the teams that moved on!

JJ you had the best regular season in BLB history. No one thinks any differently about you because you lost in the first round of a fake baseball game against people you will never actually meet.

Right, I don't think anyone thinks of JJ as a shitty GM, at least I certainly don't. We just think of Pittsburgh as the Yankees of the BLB.

Surprised we beat the Wildcats, they were clearly better than us this season. But our pitching was terrific and we got just enough runs to squeak by. Almost blew it in game 6 by giving up the 5-run lead in the 9th, but luckily we won it in extras and avoided a game 7. Parongao and Ponte were both great and Winchel threw a very solid game as well.

We managed to win the series despite being outscored 21-16 and Vincent Nino only driving in one run. That's very surprising for my team.

There must be something about the playoffs that Mark McAuliffe likes. 1981 Postseason MVP. Hit .200 during the regular season this year and goes out and hits .389 this series.

I'm just going to throw out a general "get a life". If ever it applied, it would be in this thread.

Congrats to the Commish, who is more brash in his corrupt ways than "The Teflon Don" John Gotti ever was.

Now I will contemplate my move of giving up Hartford, to then get back on the owners list to return to the league in a different division. Of course knowing my luck, my name will be next in line when, after losing a 4 game series to Maine in April, JJ's head finally splits open down the middle before enveloping the rest of his body like a dying white dwarf star, thereby making Pitt available.

              No love for the Javelinas.

For my next trick, I will make the (soon to be) $2T Federal deficit disappear.

Timely hitting and a good bullpen...That's the only explanation I can come up with. If I want to have any chance in the next series, I've GOT to get something more out of Guardamagni (he SUCKED!), and my "timely" hitting better become "lots of hitting". But I'm not feelin' it...

Props to Closer Carl Bell. He was lights out.
And...'sniff'...I'm so proud of the way my guys hung in there in game #4...

JJ; if I promise not to be obnoxious, are you cool with me submitting a news article for the front page?

              NOTE TO THE COMMISSIONER:
I'm going to make my changes and export tonight (Tue). I'm on the road for work tomorrow (Wed) and won't have access to the game again until Thursday night. A 7-day lineup will only take me through game #5. If the universe should spin out of control and the Furry Pigs manage to win 2 games, I won't be able to export again until Thursday night. Do you want me to forgo the 7-day lineups?

He sims the entire match-up so 7-day lineups don't really work.

And can someone explain to me why Washington had home field advantage even though I won my division? What a load of crap.

Yeah Maine had homefield over Indianapolis too. Strange thing is, we're both on the road in the second round.
