When I traded Joe Iliquez away to Los Lunas, my scout loved the pitcher I got in return, Curt Race... claimed he was a star in the making. Rated him as a 6-5-6. Of course, the SISA and I assume most other scouts disagree.

Today we got good news on Mr. Race who is now listed as a 7-6-6 by my scout. His current scouting report says: "Potential Hall of Famer".

We'll cautiously optimistic that we found a diamond in the rough... regardless of what the game/other scouts say.

Nice! See... that should be your new moto in Cali.... "California Kodiaks: Can't Lose 'Em All!!!"

It's always nice when you think you see something like that at in actually works. I had a good feeling on trading for Arrendondo last year and making him a full-time starter. He's paid off pretty well for his pricetag.

I think it pays to listen to your scouting director. People complain a lot about the scouting in this game, mainly those resistant to change. But if you have a good one, I think you should listen.

Is there a way to rescind an offer to a coach? I mistakenly gave someone a 4-year 920,000 contract to run my AA team.

Doubt it. He signed the dotted line.

Only way I know of is to manually download the league file and overwrite it on your PC. Then just export again overwriting your export that contains the offer. This will overwrite all your other changes as well though.

                      Dammit. Thank you sir.

By the way, Andrew aren't you on the "we said fix this shit next time" customer board for OOTP? Give them my regards.

Can you just erase my offer for that coach? I'll find a different manager.

Unless you just download the new file, you won't be able to offer anyone else the job til the next sim.

Don't think so. For some reason the coach offers are coded completely differently than players so don't even think I can see them.

My scout wasn't nearly as enamored with Race as yours apparently was. Score one for California, 'cause Iliquez will be a Free Agent again after this season.

Race could be garbage for all I know.

His stats surely haven't shown him to be the next big thing.
