The magic number is 4 for the Tobs, so we can potentially close out the division this sim. Obviously not a very exciting race, but we'll take a playoff spot anyway we can get it. It's been a while since my team has made the playoffs.

We went 4-3 this sim. Split 2 apiece with Davenport and Los Alamos before taking 2/3 from Wilmington. Joe Ponte got injured against Wilmington, but luckily it's just a day-to-day injury and we can afford to rest him with our position. I'm not sure how well we stack up against our likely playoff opponents, so we're going to need everyone healthy. We'll get Jimmy Joy back in time for the postseason, so it's just a matter of no one else going down.

Team chugged along at .500 while I was away. Not bad considering my Ace (Guardamagni) went down with an injury. (Didn't need that!)

(AAA) Boulder team went the distance. (AA) Team made it to the league championship and then imploded (0 - 4). (A) Team had a respectable season, but on the whole they underachieved, I think.

Here's hoping my FA rental, Wetton, turns out to be one of those late-season B-12 shots that sparks the team into and through the playoffs.

BTW: I gave up a sunny 85 degrees in CA to come home to my wife and children, where it was -10 degrees with the windchill. I spent 45 minutes trying to get the ice off my car at the airport at 1:00 am today. I broke my scraper and one windshield wiper in the process.
