**** me runnin'!! 2-0 v Morgantown... 2-0 v Wilmington (including a walk-off from Harcourt).... then fall apart (1-2) v California because I had no pitching left. "The Skull" is done for the season and his Pale Ale hopes go with him. He still may get some votes, but he needed those 2 or 3 more starts. Damn!

Good sim all in all. My DL is loaded with Pitchers. That's just killer. My 1st goal was 70 wins... I have 74... next level is 82 to lock up an above .500 season. I've put some distance between us and Morgantown.... passed Baltimore.... I feel like a Top 5 team in the IL.

Second straight 4-3 sim for the Kodiaks.

Lost Stewart for the rest of the year with a strained hamstring but I'm not too upset about that. He'll be back and plenty rested for ST next year.

Big congrats goes out to Alberto Grandon, he is the first ever California player to knock in 100 runs in a season. It took eight seasons, but we finally made it!

Robby Shannon had his hitting streak snapped at 25. Very happy with how he's played this year.

Top prospect Victoro Diaz made his debut and went 1-0 in two starts but walked more batters than he struck out and had a WHIP over 2

Pitching was horrible this sim or I think I'd have been looking at a 5-2 mark.

Still can't complain with California playing .600 ball in September.

5-2 sim, with a 3 game sweep of Maine.

Joe Gauina finally re-ups with us, now to look at Adron. The guy wants the moon, but hopefully he'll cave.

My two young guys are really hittin' Unfortunately Cutter, as expected went down with injury. He has a terrible injury history but I knew I was rolling the dice when I traded for him.

Cutter ended up hitting .364 in 10 games. Good news is that he'll be back for spring.

Wetton is on a tear too. He's hit .373 since being called up.

Burgett looks like he'll hit 30HR's. I think we'll be better next year, especially with our injury guys back. Been a hard year for injuries.

I am also the DL equivalent to Virginia - losing history, relatively large budget, and 5th best record in the league. So when you forget about Syracuse... you also forget about Virginia.. the homes of little victories.
