We took a six game lead in the division, but lost our starting catcher and third baseman. Doh.

We spanked the Bulldogs. 5-1, lead now up to 7 in the division.

Campoveroe is a man. He has 120 runs scored. The single season BLB record is 134, set by Hiraki in 1979. Joe Soto is making a strong case for IL Pale Ale pitcher.

Fortunate to get our third 4-2 sim in a row, separating us from the pack a little.

However, we lose Miller and Rivena for 2 weeks.

Wilmington's record is gaudy since acquiring McEvoy.

We've been on an absolute tear. We finished like 38-14 in the months of July and August.

Unusually high BABIP, maybe. All of other stats are right in line with his usual performance, so what else can it be?

And... it's officially over in Virginia. Great run. Franchise records being broken left and right. Just too much talent in WIL and WAS to hang... and too many injuries. Would love to finish above .500.

                        Exceeded SOOOOO many goals.

Playoffs are all but set. Well, the winner of the Ale still needs to be decided, but the loser of the division is the wildcard. And I guess Baltimore still could catch Philly in the Porter, but it's a longshot.

                          If the playoffs started today...
                          Maine vs. Los Lunas
                          Indy vs. Pittsburgh
                          Wilmington vs. Philly
                          Carolina vs. Washington

Who am I kidding? I'll be happy as hell if we reach the playoffs.

Damn. Worst sim of the season 1-5. Got swept by Cali.

We needed to win every game we could. So instead we go out and lose more games in a week than any other week in the entire season. I'd like to hope that we can still muster a .500 season.
