That is why he is playing so hard...so he can get paid.

My offense is pretty good. Gorrie has been outstanding since returning from injury, and Romo has been on an absolute tear during the same timeframe. He's climbed from like the 20th ranked RF to 9th. He came up as a 1B, and has committed only 5 errors in RF this year after committing 14 last year in 20 more games. Alvarez is on pace to put up a better avg, more HR, more walks, less Ks, a higher OBP, more runs, and a higher OPS than last season. His RBIs should dip, but only because he put up 140+ last year. Then there's Campoveroe, Delarruz, and Elliott. It's a fun group to watch.

I absolutely hated watching the simmed games against your line-up.

I was literally expecting six runs a game everytime you played.

          You are stacked.

Campo is a player to build a franchise around. Painful to say, and even more painful to watch, but that offense is unreal. Tons of young talent that is really coming together.

My young core of Nago, Summers, Grounds, Murdock, Padilla, Fitzsymons and Ansoátegui could give them a run for their money in the coming seasons however.

Don't count Woodbury out just yet. He took a nap in July, but he's heating up.

If we're talking triple crown stats, not a chance... but Stout Slugger, I suppose he has a shot.

Too soon to tell... but all signs point to YES.

Yeah, that lineup is stacked. And, sadly, really young still.

The Stout will be interesting over the next few years because I think my young core is going to be really good too. I think Poling is just scratching the surface of what he can do... Tracy is going to be better than people think.... and Maeda is going to be a good one when he gets up. I definately have a few more question marks than Wilmington or Washington... but I love my young bats.

Woodbury is a stud. It's almost like.... he should have way better numbers than he does. Maybe cause he's a little streaky.

Woodbury usually goes down at least once per year with an injury. He's avoided that this year.

The Stout is scary good. I don't know how Morgantown does it, honestly, but this division is going to be fun in the future.

Why don't you guys take the circle jerk to the Stout Division thread. I'm about to get sick.

                      edit: I'm joking, of course.

Howard Haydon is making a late push for some Stout Slugger votes, also. .287/.358/.544 with 23 HR and 86 RBI with 8 HR so far in 60 August at-bats.

Morgantown is... well.... I can't explain it.

Think about the old Stout right now though... Imagine the current Stout minus Morgantown plus Philly and B'More.... it'd be a bloodbath.

That's why I jumped on the opportunity to bring Truex back. He's an insurance policy.

Morgantown gets lucky. A lot. Still, it's impressive how quickly they became a respectable franchise.

They got a good pen and get good outings from mediocre starters. I don't know their ballpark dimensions, but there's something about this team. When they get some young talent, they are going to take the next step quick.
