Past draft results

I know I've seen this either online in the HTML, in-game or both. Where do I go to find all the past draft results for my team & other teams?

- does anyone know when we switched the draft from mid-season to the beginning of the season?

- when we did it mid-season, any idea about when the draft started (I just need a month).

Perhaps my memory is shaky, but I thought we used to do the whole thing in the offseason. Now, we start it at the beginning of the season and enter the results in midseason.

I'm looking through some past trades and depending on when they were made in the season some were used in that season's draft (i.e. trade made in '83 and traded draft pick was picked in '83) and others were the next season (i.e. trade made in '83 and draft pick was picked in '84). I don't think these are cases of trading for a future draft but I can't remember how it worked now.

My recollection is that in 1978 and 1979 the draft was done on AIM or through a list submitted my the GM and it was done in one evening. I think the draft has always taken place in game in June. The only difference is that in 1980 we switched to the current system using the draft utility.

Thanks guys...I think I figured it out.

I stayed up until about 1:30am working on this last night. I'll post some of it tonight. Pat, don't get too excited...it's not that great, but I thought of this a while ago and finally did something with it. I'm hoping it will prompt some other teams to do it too.
