3-4 sim, I'm starting to lose ground in the Co-Commish cup

Chewning took a slight hit in his rating, as expected for players that join my organization.

Huh... swept by Maine...who woulda thunk it? Did split with Pitt, which in essence gives Maine a better standing. In closing, I <3 Maine.

Don Stevens first game as a Slammer: 1.2 IP, 5 R, 2 ER. holla.

4-3 sim, moving above .500 and keeping pace with Indy.

He did face 11 batters though. Not even 50% of them scored.

                      The Good:

Juan Ortiz won Rookie of the Month! Hooray!

                      The Bad:

We lost 6 games out of 7

                      The Ugly:

                      Hartford Whalers.

Stevens also took a ratings hit, from 5-5-6 (5-5-7) to 4-5-6 (4-5-7). That's still nice though. Ciocci's ratings just changed, gaining a point in movement but losing a point of control.

Ditto. Except for the March part.

Back-to-back CG SO for 2 of my starters, one by Mayfield who was just brought up to fill Pateshall's spot.

                            Can't complain here.

                              Pigs On Parade

The Furry Ones go 4 - 3 for the week; which was just enough to go one up on the Sinners for 1st place in everyone's favorite division. (Well, okay maybe not everyone's favorite division.)

                              The Good
SP Donato Guardamagni finally started earning his $14.8M the last two weeks. Besides getting DL Pitcher of the Month for July, he hit the leader-board for ERA and K's. LF Ken Cahill has also come alive in the last couple of weeks. And 3B Amoldo Andradez is just coming off a 20-game hitting streak.

                              The Bad
I think SP McCarthy is destined for a demotion. My rotation in AAA has some good ERA's, but their ratings scare me. (Except for Krieger. He might be able to get it done, but I'd prefer to wait until September to bring him up.)

                              The Iffy
If I can find a way to push RF Gary Lippincott's average up to .250; or even .240; I might start playing .600 ball. A win on the road once in a while wouldn't hurt, either.
