6. CONTRACTS

• A Team Option must contain a minimum buyout equal to:
  • (A) The difference between the highest guaranteed year salary and the amount of the team option (provided the option year $$ > the highest guaranteed year $$),
  • (B) 10% of the amount of the team option,
  • Whichever amount is greater.
• Vesting option years are not allowed
• Only one Team Option may be used per contract, and it must be in the last year of the contract. This prevents people from stacking Player Options after the Team Option.
• Players cannot be signed to contract extensions until after they have received their second arbitration contract. Players become eligible for contract extensions once they have two "Received a 1-year contract worth a total of $xx through arbitration." in their player history.
• For each contract year, the $$ value of an individual season must be at least 50% of the highest guaranteed season value

This upcoming SIM is to make sure everyone that is returning can successful update and export in OOTP 21 v 21.6.83. We will not advance until all exports are in or a team posts they will not be returning for 2043 and BLB season 65! I hope you all will return but if not you can just post here or DM/PM a commish.

In order to convert download the final OOTP 20 file (game date 11/14/42) then close and save. Start up OOTP 21. Click "Show More Modes" then "Import OOTP20 game". You just need to find the world.dat folder found in ...OOTP20\saved_games\brewers.lg and then name the file brewers and the game do the rest. Please handle all your arbitration/option decisions just like a normal Offseason 0 SIM.

If you can't update or export please post here to get help. We won't leave you behind. I will post a OOTP 21 starter file for those as well who are having issues converting.

If you are having issues the OOTP 21 league file has been posted in the Owners Forum under the League File Download thread.

OOTP21 in game download won't work yet. You must either dload from OOTP20 in game and covert. Or download the 21 file via the Owners forum link and unzip.
