Wow. We've been 2-10 since the loss of Tandy, including losing a series to California and Virginia, although, Virginia really isn't a team to laugh about anymore.

Also, expect a bench clearer in the near future between Cali and Baltimore. California is beaning a lot of Baltimore players (4 in this last series, twice on Mabbett) my players are NOT taking to kindly to it. We are trying to be the bigger men.

That was a sweet sim. Went 6-1 including a sweep of first place Indy. I finally got Adam Nickell back which is going to be a huge help and now Victor Gonzalez is leading the BLB in batting average after hitting .480 the previous week with 4 doubles and a HR.

Up next, Pitt and Maine, a 2-4 sim would be great.

          Ignored Offers

In the Division only a mother could love...The Furry Pigs with a "perfectly balanced" record of 49 - 49 are tied for the lead with the Gamblers. (How's that for a "spin job"?!)

Question: I've met contract demands from coaches several times now, and they keep coming back with the same demand. They seem to be ignoring my offer. The same thing happened with SP MacLagan; who now is shunning me and it looks like I'm going to lose him to Free Agency at the end of the season.

Is this a glitch; or does it just mean I should have offered something over-and-above what they were/are demanding?

I had no idea this sim was happening. Not sure why I thought we were taking like a week off. Stupid holidays.

I think there's a glitch with signing coaches. They give their demands and then it auto populates a different number when you go to sign them. I think the number it auto populates is their actual demand. The other means nothing.

Thanks Commish. I think I do remember seeing a highlighted number that was different than the requested salary in the text. I ended up losing a minor league coach, but he probably was "really" asking for more than I was willing to give him anyway.
