6-1 sim! Swept Hartford and took 3/4 against Hyundai with the sole loss being by 1 run. With this sim, I am no longer in the cellar of BLB :)

3-4 sim despite being outscored 40-28.

It seems Washington finally took out all the frustration it was having with California in this one sim.

Well, a 1-6 SIM, but that's not of any surprise to me considering I haven't been able to export for a few SIMs....and I have 7-Day lineups on which always put in the wrong pitchers....and I asked the Commish to shut it off for me for this last SIM which he didn't *ahem*. So of course there were several starts of 12, 15, 20 pitches before the call to the bullpen went it. But walking out of there without any of my pitchers dying or arm injuries sounds great.

I'd like to point out the following as a cautionary tale as to why you do not make trades that do not make sense to your team financially.

Since trading for Joe Truex, Joe Iliquez and Joe Stapley the three Joe's have gone a combined 18/124 or .145. with no home runs and only two XBH.

              Lovely.

Lost the first two to Pittsburgh before taking the third and then sweeping Denver in four game series to get back to .500 with a 5-2 sim. We're in 2nd place, only four games out, and even though we'll still be trying to sell, I think there'll still be enough pieces left that we might have an outside shot at making a run.

Raul Zamora, who I was *THIS* close to trading last week, won player of the week hitting .560 with a 1.297 OPS last week, his first week after being moved towards the bottom of the lineup. Who knows, maybe he feels less pressure down there. But it was nice to see that he remembered how to play baseball.

Our offense definately has a different feel now that Rancourt and Samarano are back from injury. We're still missing a big power bat in our lineup, but from 1-9 I'm very comfortable. Now if I could just get some sort of pitching.

"going JJ" is now offically in the SGN vocabulary... congrats JJ.

This week worried me. 7 road games against teams that usually play me tough. I was hoping for 3-4 or 4-3, but am elated with 5-2, and taking three out of four from a hot Virginia squad. Gugs was the man, allowing just 1 earned run in 13.1 IP, picking up 2 wins. He's been on fire.

1 back in the division, and 6 up in the wildcard. I'm liking where we're at right now.
