This team sucks... Like a whole lot!
Record in April 15-9, .625 PCT
Record in May 15-14, .517 PCT
Record in June 13-15, .464 PCT
Record in July 19-6, .760 PCT
Record in August 10-17, .370 PCT
    The definition of mediocre!

Although we have a top 10 player at every position (and in many cases a top 5 player), the 3rd best pitching in the IL, and the second most efficient defence in the IL, the dice rolls just keep coming up with losses... We are now an astounding 18-24 in one run games, and according to PYT we are 11, 8, and 8 games better than three of the four teams in front of us... Ugh!

It looks like Kodiak fans dream of making the playoffs four years in a row for the first time in BLB history may be just a pipe dream!
GM California Kodiaks 2014 - Present
    Brewmaster's Cup Champions 2036, 2043

GM Edmonton Herd 1987 - Present
    Brewmaster's Bowl Champions - 1990

    GM Toronto Arenas 1979/80 - 1982/1983
    Brewmaster's Ice Cup Champions 1979/80

      Thanks Brad!

Seatte goes 5-2 at home against DEN/BAL.

The pitching was really strong. P Ace McDaniel starts his rehab this week. Tesluk has looked good since his return.

You still have a great shot.

Your last 10 games were one of the toughest stretches any team has or will face this season. Three DC, three LAD and four BAT. All on the road. Those teams are #1, #6 and #7 on Power Rankings and #1, #7 and #8 in W-L record.

5-2 for the Bats. We lost a series at Baltimore, which is always disappointing. But we rebounded to sweep a 4-game series against Windy City at home, bringing us to 50 games over .500 and still in total control of the Stout and the race for HFA. Some bad news on injures with Esterline and Zuniga both getting banged up, but both injuries are minor and they'll be back to full health by next sim.

Surprise hitting stars of the week were Justin Babbage and Oscar D'Addona, Zuniga was lost in the first game of the week and Nunes had perhaps his worst week, so others had to step up. Not a great week at the plate for us, but we did manage to rough up Barton Mejia and come up with some timely hits to make up for the lack of power. Hopefully we'll re-find the form we had at the plate earlier in the season in the last month. It was a mixed bag on the mound as well, but Ammons managed to pick up 2 wins.

You see the glass half full side... Good point! It was a hell of a rough stretch after starting the year with such a heavy home schedule... Hopefully some home cooking will help us right the ship!
