    Thanks Brad.

3-4 road sim including three losses to New York. Not a great sign but we somehow managed to increase the Bock by half a game. CF Riley Thomas strained his oblique and will miss five weeks. He's not great but clearly our best CF option. With no set backs, he will be healthy for the final three games of the season. Not sure I'd play him after five weeks and no rehab. This injury may have ended his Pilots career.

This will probably jinx him but IF Brandon Washington has been really good for us. The 31-year-old and former Clown, joined as a minor leaguer in 2037. In 47 games he is hitting .343/.919 while playing 2B-3B-SS.

      Well... That sucked!

We’ve heavily rested guys all year, and it’s resulted in a very up and down season. With a month to go, we are rolling the regulars... Hopefully it works!

4-2 for the Bats, losing a series in Carolina but sweeping California back in DC. We'd been 1-7 against them, so it was nice to finally not get embarrassed by the Kodiaks. Division lead sits at 14.5 games, lead over Seattle for the #1 seed is 12. I haven't been too aggressive with anyone's playing time, but unless these races start to really tighten up, I'll probably really start focusing on rest for the key pieces.

With about a month to go, Pat Nunes looks to be a top contender for Stout Slugger - he had a nice week hitting .400 with 3 HR and 8 RBI. JD Rice is making a strong push, but for now Nunes leads the BLB in WAR (6.9). Blake Hartman hit 4 HRs this week to bring him to 37 for the year. That ties him with Pat Ladd for the 4th most in as season in Bats history, with Miguel Angel Padilla's record of 40 looking to be in serious jeopardy. He's probably the leading candidate for IL New Brew as we try to get repeat winners from the Bats.
