Thanks BradZ , especially for all the work with my deal.

Seattle goes 4-3 against DEN/PHI to maintain a three game lead in the Bock.

The acquisitions of Pat Schick and Tom Sellers has bumped the Pilots rotation to #9 on the positional strength (in my file.) We gave up a lot to get the two but I felt this season would be turn out just like last year. Lose to the division at the wire. Lose in the wild card round because we can't matchup with other teams SP. While Washington is still ahead of us, by a lot, I do think this team has a good chance against anyone else in the IL. If we can maintain the division lead, maybe someone upsets the Bats before we have to meet them down the road.

4-2 for the Bats, winning both series this week. Kinda ho-hum the past couple sims, we've beaten the non-playoff teams that we've been up against but haven't been quite to the level we've been at other points of the season. But, nothing to really complain about and our leads in the Stout race and for HFA are both pretty steady.

So far in August, Nunes and Zuniga have been pretty ordinary, while the bottom of my order has been an automatic out. Not surprisingly, we're having our worst month of the season at the plate. We're also having one of worst pitching months of the season, after putting up a 2.37 ERA in July we're at 3.87 so far in August.

We've been fine, but it gets more difficult this next sim at Carolina and then hosting California, a team that I just can't beat this season.

A 4-3 week for the Kodiaks, that once again, felt like it could have been better... Our last eight losses have all been by one run!

In the feel good story of the week, Josh Wright hit his 300th career BLB home run... He's spent a great 4 years in California after signing as an FA in 2035, piling up three straight 30+ home run seasons, with an outside shot at a fourth.
