    Thanks Matt!

Worst sim of the year for the Pilots.

Hosting the Kodiaks, we only got one win, which was 4-3 in the 11th inning, losing the other two. Then Washington came to town and swept us in three. The 1-5 weeks drops Seattle out of first place in the Bock and is now in the thick of the Wild Card race. We also lost P Ace "Brain" McDaniel for five weeks. The SP/RP swingman had posted a 2.1 WAR in 92 IP and will be a big loss. An injury this long might be devastating to the 38-year-old's chances to contribute going forward. He is unlikely to return until September, which doesn't leave a lot of time to rehab.

I also have two players cold, rookie 2B Johnny Thompson and CF Riley Thomas. I think Thompson might be hitting the rookie wall, so we are sending him down to Triple-A. He will be replaced in the lineup by veteran's Jimmy Ballew and Brendon Washington. Thomas is still our best option in center, despite his poor play but Elisha Ziegler will get a few more looks.

We are in danger of losing the Single-A and Rookie League divisions, both to Denver affiliates. #NoRingers

5-1 for the Bats, winning 2/3 against Philly before a sweep in Seattle. We've won 14 of our past 15 games since we were swept to start the month. We're playing well, the division lead sits at 13.5 games and we're 9 games up for the #1 seed in the IL.

Big weeks at the plate from Nunes and Babbage, and even D'Addona who showed his first signs of life in a few months. His presence has helped our defense, but he's been an automatic out for a couple months now. Would be nice to get something from him. On the mound, Ian Ammons pitched our first complete game of the season to headline a good week from most everyone who took the mound.

Another strong week in California... We've been really streaky this year, hopefully this streak that we are currently on, lingers a little while longer...
