    Thanks Matt!

Another terrible sim as our season of bad luck and bad timing seems to be continuing...

We bat 0.290 (first in the IL) with the bases empty and 0.268 (10th in the IL) with them loaded... Ugh! Which might explain how the IL's #2 offence by most categories is floundering at NINTH in runs scored.

We are also inexplicably tied for tenth in GB%for our pitchers, even though we have the easily the most range of any team in the BLB and a staff with 9 GB or EXGB pitchers on it...

After starting 13-1, we are a moribund 16-22 since then...

And, oy yeah... Tony Ramos is struggling... A lot!

I'm hoping this turns itself around, as it would seem we have the players (all in the Top 10, except Wright) to make this happen, but very frustrating for the time being!

4-2 for the Bats, bouncing back from our worst week of the season in the previous sim. We swept Baltimore but lost the series at Windy City, so that's 3/4 series that we've lost as we're not playing quite as well as we were. Still, we're in first place.

Star of the week was Blake Hartman, .417 (1.625 OPS), 5 HR, 14 RBI. He's really picked it up and had a great month of May at the plate. Our old prospect Bruce Viggiano is running away with the accolades for IL rookies, but Hartman has been good for us. Our lineup continues to pace the IL in most categories.

The pitching has been rough lately, with Ammons in particular getting rocked every time he heads to the mound. We're not a bad defensive team, but he's given up a .360 BABIP so hopefully it's something that will even out with more games.

Injury news- Edgar Alonzo's 2-week injury is now an unknown recovery that heads into week 4 with this next sim, so that's frustrating. We're hitting ok, but his replacements haven't been anywhere near what I was getting from him. Hopefully I'll see next sim that he's ready to rejoin the team.
