    Thanks Brad!

Another 3-3 sim for Seattle (0-3 vs. Windy City, 3-0 @ New York). Behind in Bock by five games, 3rd Wild Card.

Biggest takeaway was SP Demetrius Insua's best start of the year: 5 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 2 BB, 3 K in a 11-3 win against New York. I promoted Triple-A Pitching Coach Kihachiro Kajiwara, who specializes in finesse pitchers. Maybe that will help going forward. Sadly, long time incumbent JJ Rodriguez, who has been the Pilots PC since 2022, was sent down to Triple-A.

The Pilots might be the most overachieving team so far this season. We are 9th in the IL in runs scored and 8th in runs allowed. The PYT is only +2 but at five games over .500 with only a +9 run differential, we've been really lucky.

    Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-
    Seattle Pilots- 2017-2041
    Washington Bats - 1979-2013

A second week in a row above 0.500. Our offence still continues to come up empty in a lot of big situations, as we continue our theme of the 'solo shot' home run.

Josh Wright hit another home run, but seems to be losing some steam playing regularly in the lineup.

Blake Morris' first BLB game was a success and he pitched 2 and 2/3 innings against the Washington and only allowed one run on three hits!

Our scout came back from a well deserved vacation in Colombia and brought back a very promising outfielder with him!
