Another sim that left us wanting more in California... For a team with it's entire roster (not including Josh Wright) inside the top 10 of their position, they just haven't had any real consistency yet... We can't seem to match up our offence and defence at this point... And not sure if it is a lot or not, but 34 of our 50 home runs have come with bases empty... That seems like a high percentage??

The good news is... We are still at 19-13, with a schedule that, like everyone else in the IL, has been tough sledding so far!

Josh Wright... Who know one wanted is now batting 0.323 with 11 home runs and 17 RBI (nice ratio there) in 17 games!

Tony Ramos has been decidedly average in his start to the season... Is it too early to be nervous that he has 8 seasons to go after this one?!?!?

      Thanks Brad.

Seattle posts a 5-2 week after sweeping Phoenix and splitting a four game series with Philly. At 19-14, the Pilots are 1.5 games back in the Bock and tied with Carolina for the final WC spot(s).

RF Dave Hoyt has been incredible. Has that championship musk about him.

7-0 for the Bats this week. We're playing really well right now, winning 16 of our last 18 games. We went on the road to sweep New York before coming home to take all 4 games against Phoenix.

Our star players are performing great, and that's carrying us. Nunes and Zuniga combined to hit .396 with 4 HRs and 17 RBI this week and have seen their ratings rise on the Top Players list with their hot starts. Aden Grant has hopefully found his footing at the plate, he also had a nice week and has recovered from a slow start to his BLB career the first few weeks.

Reggie Chao has a 0.96 ERA through 18.2 IP out of the bullpen, showing few ill effects from missing all of last season. As a group, my bullpen only allowed one run in 26 innings pitched this week.

The bad news: We had 4 players get injured this week. Aden Grant's was only a 1 day, DTD injury, so he's back. Jabari Chester has the flu and will be DTD for 3 more days. Jamie Breed is a bit more serious, his strained oblique will keep him hobbled for 4 weeks, also listed as DTD. He'll probably go to the injured list, since I'm not sure about letting him pitch through an injury for that long. Edgar Alonzo has been one my best hitters so far, but he also strained his oblique and will be "Out" for 1-2 weeks. So, nothing too major, but we'll be a little bit hobbled for the next few weeks and I'll have to call up a couple guys from AAA.
