    Thanks Matt!

Not the best week in Seattle (3-4) but considering the opponents (LAD, DCx4) it's not so bad.

FA import RF Dave Hoyt has been huge for us. He's pacing a 10.1 WAR in just 122 games. He won't keep that pace but his production has been encouraging considering his price tag.

20 games into the season and the Pilots rank 12th in the IL in walks and homeruns. We are scoring at a decent clip with contact, gap hits and speed but if we want to compete in the Bock we are going to need to improve in those key areas. The pitching is going to be a struggle all year it seems. In all pitching stats the Pilots rank 6th-11th in the IL. And they aren't getting the help they received last year defensively with the departures of Mat Barone and Nehemiah Daniel at 2B/3B.

3-4. We were swept at Carolina, who we just can't beat these past couple seasons but rebounded to win 3/4 in Seattle. Coulda had a sweep, but a blown save to end the series gave us the losing week. It drops us to third place, since the Stout looks really good this season, at least at the top.

Not a lot to mention, but Nunes had his best week of the season. Tom Stark did as well, but he picked up a minor DTD injury.

The only "concern" so far is that we're 1-5 in one-run games, including 3 blown saves. I know that can be pretty random, but hopefully we figure out a way to break even on those. We're -3 against our Pyt. Record through 3 weeks and it feels like every win is going to matter in the playoff race.

Well... That sucked! Good thing for Josh Wright! We weren't going to play 0.900 baseball the whole year.

Huge series starting off the week in Denver to see where both clubs are at!
