Sorry about the roster issue Matt!

Good start for the Kodiaks. The young guns on offence helped carry the rebuilt bullpen.

Nehemiah Daniel is still shaking off the rust as we slowly get him into more game action.

Josh Wright accepted an invite to AAA, as a potential replacement if Drew Ansell (0-12) struggles early in his platoon at 1B.

Somewhat of a mixed bag for the Bats as we go 4-3 in the Opening Week. It feels like we left a better week on the table, since we lost all three one-run games including two blown saves by Deval Galvan. He's been so good in his first two years that I'm not going to overreact, but that's not a good start for him. We outscored our opponent 30-2 in the 4 games that we won, so we had a few impressive performances and probably should have won another game or even two.

Beyond Galvan's failings, not much to complain about. We're 2nd in the IL in both runs scored and runs allowed and rate highly in most statistical categories. We won't lose every close game.

        Lucky to be 3-4.

Rotation might be a problem. Bullpen is going to run away with most innings. Tesluk can’t come back soon enough.

        Bock is stacked.

Slow start from the rookies but 5-2 works for me

Matt, just to help with what you define “40 man roster issues”?

seems like there were a lot of us.

It usually happens when you have players that are on the Spring Training roster that you keep on the Active Roster but never move to the 40 man. Every year at this time we usually have a few teams that forget...this year we had more than a few.

What I do when I am done with my rosters before I export for the start of the season is use the circle button above the Active Roster to select all players on that roster. I then drag the players over to the 40 man. It will add those which have not been placed there yet.
