    Thanks Brad!

Only a 4-3 sim for Seattle but California went 1-6! The Bock lead is now down to half a game.

"Big Stick" Swope shook off the season long rust to post a monster week. He's like Shaq. Use the first 80% of the season to get in shape for the playoffs.

Our final three series are vs. LAD, @ CAR and vs. PHX. Good luck to Paul and the remaining contenders.

Our bullpen has finally likely taken us out of top spot... Not sure what happened, but the strength of las years team has just utterly disappeared...

      2036 Tesluk. 115 ERA+
      2037 Tesluk 67 ERA+

      2036 Rudlaff 134 ERA+
      2037 Rudlaff 85 ERA+

      2036 Trainer 134 ERA+
      2037 Trainer 53 ERA+

Last year those three combined to go 9-3, 32 saves, 3 blown saves, 18 holds, and 2.5 WAR combined
This year those three combined to go 13-12, 22 saves, 14 blown saves, 16 holds, and -3.5 WAR combined

Having said that, we are somehow still in first, although I expect Seattle to overtake us this week, as we have another tough week, and have a pitching staff running on fumes!

4-2 for the Bats. Unfortunately for us, the 2 losses were in another series loss to Carolina, who now leads the division by 3 games and time is running out for us to win the division. The Tobs are showing no signs of slowing down and have dominated us in the head-to-head series, so it's looking like the wildcard will be in our future. We swept Los Angeles to stay on top of the wildcard race.

Good news- Edgar Alonzo had a big week, including a 2 HR, 7 RBI game. We hit .305 (.876 OPS) for a team with only Guo having a bad week. Theisen had 2 good starts and picked up 2 wins to get to 18, a career high for him. Alan Allen has started twice now and done well both times. If he manages to do it a couple more times, he could really be in the postseason rotation.

Closing out the season, we've got 3 vs PHI, 4 @ PHX and 3 @ NY. We'll need a huge week coming up to have any hope in this division, so realistically we're probably just hoping to stay healthy and keep HFA for the Wildcard round.
