    Thanks Brad!

Went 2-1 against both Wilmington and Toronto, but lost a game in the Bock to California. Only 3.5 weeks of baseball left and unfortunately we don't get a rematch with the Kodiaks. Going to need some help...

Three injuries this week: SP CJ Wells 7 weeks, RP Tony Cervantes five days and 2B Nehemiah Daniel four days. In addition, our first round pick last year 1.18 SP James White also got hurt and even though it's only day to day, we are shutting him down for the season. It could have been a lot worse, but we got injury bug this week.

SP Micah Laird wasn't worth $26M, but he has really come into his own as a guy who relies on his defense. He took a major stuff ratings hit after signing in Free-Agency and has the 3rd lowest K/9 amongst qualified BLB SPs. But after a start to the year, 1-4, 6.63 ERA on May 15th, he is now 13-8 with a 3.89 ERA on the year. He threw a gem this week giving up just one run to Wilmington despite only one strikeout in seven innings.

Another good week in California, for people not named Turell Morris. It seems like it may be the end for him.

Our AA team made the playoffs, and hopefully lines up well to begin the playoffs this week... Our other teams had some decent records, but it doesn’t look like anyone else will qualify.

4-2 for the Bats, winning both series this week. Completely fine by us, but it's just not going to be good enough to keep pace with a (still) red-hot Carolina team. We've got one more series against Carolina coming up in the sim after next, and it'll be do or die for us in that one, if we're lucky.

It's still going well for the lineup, as Tom Stark has gotten better every month and has now put up a season that's in line with his normal self. Coleman Franklin has even started to hit now that he's playing SS since Nunes came over. We've had the highest scoring lineup in the IL since 6/1, but we're still in the middle of the pack in most stats since our start was so bad at the plate.

Coming up, we head to Baltimore, who's won 6 straight before heading home to host Denver. We'll need a big week.
