    6. CONTRACTS
    • A Team Option must contain a minimum buyout equal to:
      • (A) The difference between the highest guaranteed year salary and the amount of the team option (provided the option year $$ > the highest guaranteed year $$),
      • (B) 10% of the amount of the team option,
      • Whichever amount is greater.
    • Vesting option years are not allowed
    • Only one Team Option may be used per contract, and it must be in the last year of the contract. This prevents people from stacking Player Options after the Team Option.
    • Players cannot be signed to contract extensions until after they have received their second arbitration contract. Players become eligible for contract extensions once they have two "Received a 1-year contract worth a total of $xx through arbitration." in their player history.
    • For each contract year, the $$ value of an individual season must be at least 50% of the highest guaranteed season value

    (Friendly reminder)

    Team 1 Sends
    {player}: Pos | FName | LName (level)
    {Draft pick}: Year.Team

    Team 2 Sends:
    {player}: Pos | FName | LName (level)
    {Draft pick}: Year.Team

So, list player position, player fist name, player last name.

    eg, 1B Mike Morla (AAA)

    1) All trades are Pre-SIM unless otherwise noted.
    2) All involved players will be traded. However, only Brewers League players will be moved to a specific location.
    3) You must leave an empty spot on your 40 man and 25 man roster for each Brewers League player you want to move.
    4) You must leave empty spots in your lineups/depth charts/pitching rotations where you want the new Brewers League players inserted.
    5) You must provide detailed and specific instructions of which players you want moved and where you want them in your lineups/depth charts/pitching rotations.
    6) Any trade where draft picks are involved and the trading team does not own that draft pick, the trade will be processed and the teams will need to amend the trade.

    Thanks Brad.

Sorry for the few guys on DFA. I woke up this morning to clear that up. Spent about 15 minutes on it. Exported. Only to find out that Brad had already ran the sim.

In other news, my first pick, SP Dusty Furlong (2.15), made his RL debut. My scout gave him a 1st round grade and he is durable. After completing his first inning in our organization, he blew out his elbow which will require ligament reconstruction surgery. Because fuck me, right?

Good sim for the Bats, as we swept Philadelphia to maintain our hold on first place. We've been great at home so far, with a 34-13 record in DC.

Our big addition, Pat Nunes, had a really good first series as a Bat - -he hit .500 (1.341 OPS) with a HR. Joy-shan Guo had a great series and is off to a monster start to July (1.853 OPS in 7 games). Guo has been hitting really well after a pretty terrible April. With a couple of guys hitting better and now with Nunes in the fold, I'm starting to like the look of this lineup.

Counting Nunes, we had 6 All-Stars - first timers in AJ Brown, Jamie Waechter and Erwijn de Jong. Theisen made it for the first time since 2029 while Ian Ammons made a return trip and is 2/2 on being an All-Star in the IL.

In the minors, the deal to acquire Nunes thinned out the talent, and now my 3 Top Prospects - Andrew Otero, Elias Steves and newly drafted Evan McCaslin - are all on the DL. McCaslin's season is over as he's out for 2 months. I can only hope that he comes back healthy.

A good sim as we went 3-0 on a short week, but a bad sim, as Alex Lezama gets injured the last game before the all star break, and is out for three weeks. We're going to try to go with Jason Bass in centre for the time being. If that's a disaster, it may be time to bring up Joey Robertson, much sooner than we'd like.
