6. CONTRACTS

• A Team Option must contain a minimum buyout equal to:
  • (A) The difference between the highest guaranteed year salary and the amount of the team option (provided the option year $$ > the highest guaranteed year $$),
  • (B) 10% of the amount of the team option,
  • Whichever amount is greater.
• Vesting option years are not allowed
• Only one Team Option may be used per contract, and it must be in the last year of the contract. This prevents people from stacking Player Options after the Team Option.
• Players cannot be signed to contract extensions until after they have received their second arbitration contract. Players become eligible for contract extensions once they have two "Received a 1-year contract worth a total of $xx through arbitration." in their player history.
• For each contract year, the $$ value of an individual season must be at least 50% of the highest guaranteed season value

Please double check all trades and draft.

Had some issues importing from StatsLab to the game with the draft but the issue was resolved. Draft log in game might be off but the HTML and utilities appear to be fine.

Also it wasn't done before the file but the RL limit has been raised to 45 so please ignore any warnings when you export. We'll keep it there for a few SIMs. If you are over please trim down to 45.

Seattle goes 2-5 against California and Washington.

6-1 for the Bats, sweeping 3 against Batavia and taking 3/4 from Seattle, all games coming at home. The good week extends our division lead to 5.5 over Carolina, 7 over the Red Jackets. The perfect week was spoiled when we were shut out by Hamada in our last game, but still nothing to complain about.

The lineup continued to be better (but not great), with Zuniga putting up his best week of the year - he hit .407 and drove in 11 runs. We only gave up 19 runs in the 7 games this week, so it's still the pitching doing the job for us. Theisen wasn't great in either start, but he did extend his streaks to 15 winning decisions and 23 games undefeated. The duo of Brown and Galvan was nearly flawless closing out several close games this week.

From the draft, our top pick Evan McCaslin debuted at #29 on the Top 100 list. 2nd and 3rd round picks Cantrell and Burns look like they are just outside the Top 100, but are ranked pretty highly in my organization, so the early returns are good.
