    6. CONTRACTS
    • A Team Option must contain a minimum buyout equal to:
      • (A) The difference between the highest guaranteed year salary and the amount of the team option (provided the option year $$ > the highest guaranteed year $$),
      • (B) 10% of the amount of the team option,
      • Whichever amount is greater.
    • Vesting option years are not allowed
    • Only one Team Option may be used per contract, and it must be in the last year of the contract. This prevents people from stacking Player Options after the Team Option.
    • Players cannot be signed to contract extensions until after they have received their second arbitration contract. Players become eligible for contract extensions once they have two "Received a 1-year contract worth a total of $xx through arbitration." in their player history.
    • For each contract year, the $$ value of an individual season must be at least 50% of the highest guaranteed season value

We've been wallowing along for awhile now, and got a big jump this week with a 6-0 week versus Maine and Hartford!

Morris seems to be finally shaking off the rust of starting up late, as he batted 0.421 with two doubles and two home runs.

Pawtucket 3-3. Least were trying. Get past this season and spend away. Appears 1b Joey Williams was a solid pick up off the scrap heap.

4-2 for the Bats, which keeps us in a deadlock with the Knights, exactly where we've been for several sims now. We swept Hartford, but dropped 2/3 at Pawtucket.

We had a better week at the plate, even if it didn't translate into a ton of runs. Elmer Gregory had his best week of his young career, just in time to be demoted to backup catcher as Tony Rivera is finally back from his injury suffered in our opening week. In the rotation, Ammons, Theisen and Wilson are a combined 17-2, while Chester and Breed are 3-9. We'll need better results from the back of the rotation.
