    6. CONTRACTS
    • A Team Option must contain a minimum buyout equal to:
      • (A) The difference between the highest guaranteed year salary and the amount of the team option (provided the option year $$ > the highest guaranteed year $$),
      • (B) 10% of the amount of the team option,
      • Whichever amount is greater.
    • Vesting option years are not allowed
    • Only one Team Option may be used per contract, and it must be in the last year of the contract. This prevents people from stacking Player Options after the Team Option.
    • Players cannot be signed to contract extensions until after they have received their second arbitration contract. Players become eligible for contract extensions once they have two "Received a 1-year contract worth a total of $xx through arbitration." in their player history.
    • For each contract year, the $$ value of an individual season must be at least 50% of the highest guaranteed season value

    {Draft pick}: Year.Team

    Team 2 Sends:

    {Draft pick}: Year.Team

So, list player position, player fist name, player last name.

AAA, AA, and A start this upcoming SIM. Please have rosters down to 26 for each level. Also remember no one 22 or older in Rookie league and 25 or older in A.

Also the jerseys and logos have been added into the league file. You should not have to download the image packs anymore. When you update your game all the correct league and team logos as well as jerseys and caps should be included. You can check against the HTML to see if it worked (we have new NCAA/CCBL logos) and there are multiple uniform changes throughout the BLB universe.

    Thanks and take care!

4-2 for the Bats, winning both series again this week. At 9-4, we're off to a good start through 2 weeks. Our pitching continues to lead the team, allowing a BLB-low 40 runs thus far. The bullpen has been fantastic, led by AJ Brown and Emmitt Woodford, who may be finding his spot after missing nearly all of last season.

On the offensive side, we're going to need to hit a little better, as we're last in the league in batting average, though we're right in the middle for scoring runs. I wanted to keep getting rookie Edgar Alonzo in the lineup, but I messed that up this week and he only had one AB, in which he hit a HR. Pat Graves got all the action at 1B, and thankfully he's off to a really strong start.

We climbed back to 0.500 with a 4-2 week. Adam 'FYB' Watson is carrying the load offensively so far. It has been a long haul for the former #2 overall pick, but hopefully he is ready to continue his first two weeks success this season.

We also added T'Rell Morris to the lineup with our last bit of FA money... Having two rookies and a singles hitter man the DH spot just didn't seem to be cutting it in California. Hopefully he fits in nicely and takes some pressure off a lineup that is still, really young in quite a few key spots.

We started the season 1-6. Then we went 2-4. Now we go 3-4. Am I seeing a 4-3 week next?

Oh we play Cali and Washington. Well, it was nice to dream.

At the very least.... Denver is almost out of debt hell, has a top 3 farm system, has draft picks and there are some fun young players on the active roster: Eubanks, Bonaddio, Callison, Porcaro.....

I'm excited for the Baseball Club to be competitive again.
