    6. CONTRACTS
    • A Team Option must contain a minimum buyout equal to:
      • (A) The difference between the highest guaranteed year salary and the amount of the team option (provided the option year $$ > the highest guaranteed year $$),
      • (B) 10% of the amount of the team option,
      • Whichever amount is greater.
    • Vesting option years are not allowed
    • Only one Team Option may be used per contract, and it must be in the last year of the contract. This prevents people from stacking Player Options after the Team Option.
    • Players cannot be signed to contract extensions until after they have received their second arbitration contract. Players become eligible for contract extensions once they have two "Received a 1-year contract worth a total of $xx through arbitration." in their player history.
    • For each contract year, the $$ value of an individual season must be at least 50% of the highest guaranteed season value

    ______________________________

    (Friendly reminder)

    Team 1 Sends
    {player}: Pos | FName | LName (level)
    {Draft pick}: Year.Team

    Team 2 Sends:
    {player}: Pos | FName | LName (level)
    {Draft pick}: Year.Team

So, list player position, player fist name, player last name.

    eg, 1B Mike Morla (AAA)

File is double normal in case it takes a bit to process. Included the image packs since several people were having issues with them. Next SIM will be back to regular file size. You might want to delete your profile pictures that the game generated already. They are located in ...\brewers.lg\news\html\images\profile_pictures

Thanks all for a successful off-season and opening day. Good luck this season. Stay healthy!

Thanks for all of your hard work Matt!!

A little bit of a Championship hangover in California, as we came out very flat to start the season!

          Thanks Matt!

5-2 for the Pilots and we signed Alpha McCormick. Not bad.

5-2 for the Bats, though we did not sign Alpha McCormick (though I did offer). Still, I'll take it. We did bring back Jaden Nichlos to add solid depth to our infield, and potentially start if Franklin or Lopan falter. He'll also be a nice fill-in for when Babbage inevitably gets injured at 2B.

Pitching led the way, only allowing 21 runs in our 7 games. After last season's performance from the staff, I'll gladly take a good start. The lineup wasn't great, but we did get a very nice debut week from 1B Edgar Alonzo.

              3-4 for the Bulldogs.

Not too bad, all things considered. If we had anything that resembled a starting rotation, we'd probably look pretty good.

We did manage to swipe 9 bases and JD Rice and Zach Bradley are going to a lot of feelings this year.

                4-3 week for the Freedom,

I’m really excited about our potential offensively ... it looks like there is some potential for a scrappy lineup that fights and keeps us in games, with enough firepower to put up an occasional 10 spot.

I feel good about how our rotation, for the most part, should be somewhat stable. At some point I’d like to transition into a 6-man over the nuts and bolts of the season, but for now we’ll try and make it through April before some of the young arms in the minors get loosened up.

the key, as with 95% of the teams in the league, will be consistency in the pen. I like the options we’ve got available for now... it should be sufficient to be stay competitive.

The big test for 2037 for us will be how we supplement with our youth.

                — Safe Bets to impact the Freedom this year —-

SS Hayden Baney - After an unbelievable year spanning 4 clubs and 3 levels, Baney settles into the AAA everyday starting SS role with his eyes set squarely on the City of brotherly love.

2B Colby Davis - The sparkplug 2B who boasts a plus hit tool is eager to make his debut, especially with the void at the Keystone that is currently seen. In AAA with the directive to improve defense... At some point he make force his way into the Philly lineup and settle at the top.

3B Arkandy Kachinsky - the 3B acquired for Guadino consistently got better as the year went on. Though he lacks the superstar trait.. he looks like a pretty solid bet for plus defense and above average power... and a potential regular in Philly.

In the pen - Runkle, Mathey and Graham will be in AAA and we will hopefully be able to add some internal weapons to our pen as the season goes on

Nice writeup Mike!! I'm excited to see how Davis pans out... He can really hit... If he can field a bit, that's a great pickup!!
