Well that was pathetic, lost two 1 run games to Indy and then lost a 2 run game. One day this offense will be semi-respectable. Heads up, I won't have access to my OOTP PC for the sim so I'll be maintaining the status quo.
I'd love to take small successes with this team, but its getting tough ;)

Two convincing wins in CA. This may be a sign that the Bandits are ready to play in the second half.
Windly took advantage of hanging out in Cali after the AS game and got 5 hits in the 2 games including a home run.
Oh, and about the pitching over there in the DL... 13-8!

The Stout is unbelievable... all teams are on the top of the WC race list and we all have at least 45 wins.
Honestly, I can't fathom how we are doing so well. I lost my best pitcher for the season during the 2nd sim, the guy I brought up from AAA to take his place is out for 8 weeks, and I have had a rookie Bull pen guy spot starting here and there to take up the slack till Boivin is back from injury. I hope our luck continues.OSFL: Lake County Extreme 2008-2028, 2010 Champions

Big Bats at the All-Star Game... would have been fun for the fans to watch....
Colonial All-Stars
Harcourt - 0-3 with a BB - Scored a Run - Two DPs defensively
Nelson - 2-5 with a Double and 2 RBI
Poling - 0-2 - Played 1B
Magness - 1.1 innings - 1 K - 1 BB - Got Gremedes to ground into an inning ending DP after the walk
***
Followed the All-Star game with a 2-1 series with versus Davenport.
Game 1 - Dallyn pitched well, but couldn't get the win. IL Player of the Week did hit 2 bombs in the game. That's 10 since joining the Colonials.
Game 2 - Pounded out a 17-1 win behind Arrendondo. Harcourt hit his league leading 24th. Hamlet went 3-6 with 5 more RBI. Could have been even uglier, but the Colonials left 11 on base.
Game 3 - "The Skull" moves to 12-5 with another good outing. K'd 7...BB'd 0. Dale O'Hegarty capped off a great sim where he went 8-15 (.533).
Good all-around SIM...no real progress. Stupid Stout!!!The Great One!
To many rings to count...

I don't understand how you could ever have thought differently. If you were a neophyte GM, I probably would have thought the fact that you outscored me 25-7 during the sim might have influenced your original view.
But us veterans know, I gained a half game, you lost a half game; I had a good sim, you had a bad one, end of story.
