    6. CONTRACTS
    • A Team Option must contain a minimum buyout equal to:
      • (A) The difference between the highest guaranteed year salary and the amount of the team option (provided the option year $$ > the highest guaranteed year $$),
      • (B) 10% of the amount of the team option,
      • Whichever amount is greater.
    • Only one Team Option may be used per contract, and it must be in the last year of the contract. This prevents people from stacking Player Options after the Team Option.
    • Players cannot be signed to contract extensions until after they have received their second arbitration contract. Players become eligible for contract extensions once they have two "Received a 1-year contract worth a total of $xx through arbitration." in their player history.
    • For each contract year, the $$ value of an individual season must be at least 50% of the highest guaranteed season value

    ________________________________

    (Friendly reminder)

    Team 1 Sends
    {player}: Pos | FName | LName (level)
    {Draft pick}: Year.Team

    Team 2 Sends:
    {player}: Pos | FName | LName (level)
    {Draft pick}: Year.Team

So, list player position, player fist name, player last name.

    eg, SP Joe Blow (A)

We're getting pretty lax with this and it can make it difficult to find players when there's multiple pieces involved/multiple complex trades on the same SIM. We've recently had players listed with just nicknames, initials, no levels, either on DFA not on DFA, etc. Help us help you help us, please.

Congrats to Paul and the California Kodiaks!

Thank you all for another great season and postseason. Obviously with the current events this off-season schedule is subject to change. I know we have GM's from all over the world and spread throughout the US and no one really knows what the future holds. For now we will march on towards the year 2037 as we approach 60 BLB seasons.

    Take care and stay safe!

Thanks Matt!! It was a great daily march to the end of the season!!

The year started off with a huge trade of 5 really good prospect to Philadelphia to get Kevin Alston... I spent the year worrying I'd made a mistake... He proceeded to take the heat off of Ramos as I'd hoped he would. And, Alston was 4-0 in the playoffs, and California was 5-0 in his starts... Thanks for forcing my hand on that trade Mike!

Ramos, with the pitch shackles off in the playoffs was dominant... 3 wins, 32 innings pitched, 6 walks, and an astounding 48 strikeouts, which included EIGHT of the nine outs he recorded in his three inning start of game 7 in the Brewmasters on short rest.

Our massive free agency class from a few year's ago was monumental in getting us into the playoffs... Swope, Schmidl, and Wright combined for 107 home runs and 288 RBI, and then added another 13 HR and 30 RBI during the playoff run.

Our young bullpen, that had been dominant all year, continued it's outstanding run in the playoffs... 55 innings pitched, 15 walks, 55 strikeouts, and 1.80 ERA.

Our young stars, that I thought I brought up too early, also all contributed in a big way... 23 year old Logan Jacobi batted o.388 for the playoffs and 23 year old Brenden Santoro added 3 home runs and 11 RBI, while Adam "FYB" Watson played stellar defence to go along with his 0-1.

The two biggest contributors, both were garnered in trades, Norm Cupp (Montreal) hit a robust 0.353 with 3 home runs and 8 RBI. The real star of the team was 25 year old left fielder Alex Lezama. He battled injuries all year, and missed the last week of the season, but was a monster in the playoffs, collecting both the ILDS MVP and Brewmasters MVP, the latter by hitting 4 home runs in the final, including two home runs in the deciding game 7!

The other players all did there thing as well... I've had season with a lot better individual talent, and the Kodiaks have taken home more awards in other seasons, but this was easily the most complete team in terms of offence, defence, and pitching that I've ever put together in California.

      Great season boys!!

I just saw how Padilla got injured: a car accident the night before the game.

Just retire and never leave your house again, dude.

I see we are a few exports out from having all 24. If we get them I can SIM to FA1 later today. If not we'll still roll tomorrow AM. No hurry at all since we had a rather quick end of season/playoffs.
