Another middling sim... We are really just trying to survive to the end of the year at this point... 5 home runs makes for a tough week when you play in Washington, and in Seattle...

Still up 5.5 games... For now!

In A-ball... Our scrappy underachieving 57 win team in Moose Jaw, knocked off 68 win Janesville in Round 1, then knocked off 80 win Kinston in Round 2, and is up 2 games to 1 on 84 win Reading in the Bush Final, after blowing a 7-4 lead in the 7th that would have given Moose Jaw the title.

    Thanks Matt!

Jamari Bess called it a career. One of the best hitters in Racers history, who I will always remember for hitting 10 homers in the 2025 playoffs (BLB record) and leading the squad to their first Brewmasters. Also hit a huge walkoff homer in game 4 of the DLWC that paved the way for overcoming a 2-0 deficit to win the series. Proper club legend.

And... We're 28-30 since June... Ugh!!

We do have a lot of really young players in our lineup not named Johnny Swope, or Dusty Scmidl, so I'm hoping that they are just going through the growing pains of a long first, or second season in the BLB.

          Thanks Matt!

A 2-2 homestand against New York was salvaged by going 2-1 hosting California. The Bock lead is 6.5 games. Additionally, the Pilots are just a half game up on BAL for WC#2 and a full game back of DC for WC#1. 2B Ted Christopher made his Seattle debut getting four starts and posting a .400/1.104 stat line.

We lost a few more players to the waiver wire recently which has freed up some budget room. The Pilots signed Dutch SP Chayse "Powder" Lammerts as an IAFA for $1.6M. Not sure he's any good but I had the extra money to spend and he was the only remaining SP I could afford.

The Pilots Single-A affiliate lost to Pittsburgh but the Double-A squad is still alive against Washington (2-1). FWIW, the oldest player on the team is just 24-years-old. #NoRingers

REMINDER: Now is a good time to re-sign your minor league free-agents.
