    Thanks Brad!

2-1 hosting Denver coming off the All-Star break. Made a few pitching tweaks for the second half. Going to give journeyman RP Tom Hughes a chance to be our top setup man. In 31 Triple-A innings he posted a 0.29 ERA and 0.65 WHIP with 30 K and just five walks. Seattle's bullpen ranks 8th in the IL. Hughes made his debut this "week" pitching a scoreless 1.1 in a loss to Denver.

SP Manabu Hamada pitched a gem: 8.2 IP, 6 H, 1 R, 1 B, 7 K in a 6-1 win. He's on pace for a 9.3 WAR which would rank 19th All-Time. Of the pitchers above him on that list, Pancho (the cheat) is up there four times and 12 other times were 1986 or prior. Only Ed Carroll has posted a 9.3 WAR or better in the 2000's.
    Wilmington Wildcats- 2057-
    Seattle Pilots- 2017-2041
