      Thanks Brad!

3-3 road sim for the Seattle Pilots. Lost two games to Denver, both 2-3. Then lost one to Windy City, a 11th inning walk-off HR.

FA import SP Jarrod Peacock pitched a 1-hit shutout against Denver. 34-year-old JJ Ray pitched well also.

We begin the season (and our long stretch of road games) with a 4-2 week, winning both series at Carolina and at Philadelphia. It's a tough opening of the season for us, with the schedule so front-loaded with road games, but we're off to a fine start.

I'm happy with the lineup. It's not as good as Batavia, but we're 2nd in the IL in a lot of categories and most of my stars got off to a good start. Jaime Rush is at .476 with a .643 OBP through 6 games as our DH. Allen, Garza and Davidson each have 6 RBIs, and they should have plenty of opportunities to drive in runs given the top of our lineup.

On the mound, it wasn't so good. The rotation was pretty poor, but for now I'll chalk it up to a tough road series against a really good Carolina lineup. The back of the bullpen looked strong.

We head out for 2 series at Bock teams this week, at Denver and at Phoenix.

Two-out single in the ninth. Narrowly avoided further embarrassment.
