Phoenix is open. Jig was just too busy with work and family to continue. We thank him for playing and will be looking for a new owner come 2035. Please direct all possible interest to the forums.

    Thanks!

    Thanks Matt.

Seattle goes 0-6 on the road against Philly and Washington. Four of the games decided by one run, three in walk offs, two of which were in extras. So, if there is a silver lining, it's about as competitive as you can be when not winning a game. The Pilots are now on an eight game losing streak (and 3-13 in their last 16 games) which puts us 4th in the Bock behind California, Phoenix and Windy City. Four games back for Bock. Three games back for WC.

We, also, Tony Ramos continues to get killed. Hopefully he’s just young, but it’s been a rough start to the season for him.

Hope Gaston and Phares get it going a bit, but I like where we stand.

5-1 for the Bats. Split 2 against Windy City and then swept 4 against the Pilots, in very close games as Pat mentioned. Three walk-offs, two courtesy of Jamie Nickerson in his only two hits of the week. We'd been struggling a bit in one-run games, but we managed 3 straight this week.

We've got the three leading hitters in the Import League, with Babbage (.364), Pena (.345) and Garza (.333), while De Jong sits in 7th place at .315. Our .289 AVG leads the IL and would easily be the best in team history if we managed to keep up this pace. It's hard to imagine we will, but this offense has been a huge surprise as we lead the IL in many major categories. What we lack in HRs (8th in the IL), we make up for in double and triples, leading the league in both.

On the mound, it hasn't been quite as good lately. Arballo isn't looking like his usual self, which would be a huge blow to my chances. He's having his worst season in a long time and is falling quickly down the Top Players list. My scout hasn't picked up on anything yet, but he's not that great of a scout.
