    Thanks Matt!

Seattle 4-2 with the backups in. Had we gone 6-0, it still wouldn't have mattered as Washington won 107 to our 104. Congrats to liquidcrash on a remarkable season in the leagues toughest division. You might have won 120 in the Bock.

Congrats to BradZ on Bailey winning the batting title. Jeffs was just behind him but was benched and Bailey had a great week.

Good luck to the Wild Card teams.

3-3 for the Bats, with the reserves seeing significant action (particularly in the final series). That gives us HFA for the duration of the playoffs, which will likely only last one round for us.

Rory Smith finished with 39 homers, one short of the Bats' season record. Not a bad way to go out in his final year in DC. Hoon Park had a good start, which is encouraging since Sandy Perez has pitched his way out of the playoff rotation most likely.

Good luck to the other playoff teams.

His 2nd IL Batting Crown in the last 3 seasons. He's led the IL in 2Bs the last 2 years (47|45) and managed a career best 33 HR this season.

Also, just realized he broke the club record for total bases this season (376; old record held by Desi Rochs = 345 back in 1983).
