6-1 for the Bats, but it wasn't good enough to push the lead in HFA at all, and only added a 1/2 game on Batavia in the Stout because they didn't play 7 games. But, our magic number in the division is down to 7, so we're closing in on a division title, hopefully.

We had a 1.14 team ERA this week, so the pitching was fantastic. Arballo won both his starts, giving him 19 wins on the season, matching his career high. My bullpen combined to pitch 15.3 innings without giving up an earned run, so they were even better than my starters this week. Combined with a .310/.370/.478 slash line at the plate for the hitters, and it was a pretty dominant week.

Tough week coming up, as we host Batavia and Philly each for 3 games.
      Washington Bats, 2013-

This is where the game breaks down... He'll assuredly take the opt, which would, I'm guessing, NEVER happen in real life!

I'd say it's likely but he isn't Extremely Popular nationally which is a big factor in my experience. I'd say it's probably 75/25 he opts out.

One silver lining is I'm glad he got hurt now than say Game 2 of the ILDS. Plus, he had been pitching so below his level this season, I was contemplating moving to relief these last few weeks to get ready for a RP role in the playoffs. Had I done that this sim and he blew his arm out as a reliever, I would have been blaming myself.

He's fragile and I rarely started him on even 5-days rest, often 6-days and a strict pitch count. With these guys you can handle with a velvet glove and they can still go down at anytime.
