So we traded Melendez and our club house went from "Happy" to "Ecstatic" and now we traded Hoon , raised our ticket prices and we still sell out?(And went on a winning streak)

Wow this season has been crazy.

      Thanks Matt!

Seattle goes 5-1 at home sweeping Hartford and taking two of three against Phoenix. Bock lead is up to 21 and up three games on DC for HFA.

SP Jacob Stokes finally lost a game and is now 14-1 on the season. He got all the help he could get in this one to as Phoenix SP Redford Jeralds hurt his back on the first pitch and had to be removed. This is the first time all season that Stokes has given up 4 ER all season.

Rookie DH Charles Farris is 23 games into his BLB career and he's now hitting .300/.886. If you aren't familiar with him, he's like a poor man's Ron Hutchinson.

In transactional news, the Pilots claimed journeyman Jamie Brittingham off waivers from Denver. The 31-year-old never found a new home after leaving Indy but he will get ABs down the stretch to compete with incumbent Alec Lyons and a fellow journeyman in Ethan Broadbent for the DH role vs. LHSP in the post-season.

4-2 week for the Bats, taking 2 of 3 against Miami at home and Baltimore on the road. Still just a 4 game lead in the Stout, but we're now 16-3 for the month of August after a pretty terrible July.

When it went poorly for us this week, it was bad. We were shelled in both losses, leading to a negative run differential. Sandy Perez had his worst start as a Bat and Hoon Park was a disaster in his debut. Thankfully when we managed to survive the first couple of innings, it turned out well. Pat Arballo threw a shutout and Bert Garza homered in all 4 games he appeared in this week.

The acquisition of Hoon Park gives us 8 Top Players on the current list, which has to be my record high. We'll see if it's enough to even win the division, but this team has the talent.

No righty pitcher makes it out of Baltimore alive.

I hope so. We need some a few gifts to get past Batavia, Seattle, or Washington.

Once you get into the playoffs, OOTP is just random. Pick a name out of a hat.

We're still the same scrappy underdogs you know and love. The Yard Man is young at heart.
