lol Wilmginton signed 18 minor leaguers this sim. I wish the game itself somewhat controls or limits how much one team can sign on any given week.

        THANKS MATT!

Seattle goes 6-1 (3-1 vs. CAR, 3-0 @ NO) with the one loss being 1-2 pitchers duel.

Former Philadelphia castoff SP Jim Bunch made his Seattle debut this week (6.2 IP, 8 H, 2 ER, 10 GB) in a 6-4 win at New Orleans. He fits our style as a ground ball pitcher and his high stamina will come in handy as we try to keep the veteran bullpen fresh.

5-2 for the Bats. Won the first five, then we were shut out in back to back games by the Snappers. We only scored one run in that three game series in Syracuse, so it's fortunate we even won the game that we did.

Sandy Perez won IL Pitcher of the Month for June. He's been a huge surprise for me as a bargain ($1.8M) signing in free agency. He's 12-2 with a 2.34 ERA and on pace for 4.7 WAR. Fellow free agent acquisition Erik Harrell is 6-5 with 2.97 ERA and on pace for 4 WAR. I'd have been happy if they'd given me half this production, but so far they are a big part in why we still lead the league in runs allowed despite losing some big pieces from the rotation. At the plate, it wasn't a great week since we didn't bring the bats with us to Syracuse, but Killian Pena had a nice week.
