So lets me get this straight, Pawtucket is above .500 on the road yet 2-10 at HOME and were also 2-8 against lefties with a righty heavy lineup?

Yeah this all makes. Right now OOTP has become a random number generator. Nothing at all is jiving. I guess at least we stabilized a bit this month but just crazy.

I think it's a little early to buy into sample sizes with only 31 games played. I'm sure there were stretches of games where Pawtucket went 2-8 against lefties or 2-10 at home, even during the seasons where you won 100 games and had a much more talented roster.

On that note, is it possible you are 2-10 at home and 2-8 against lefties because your team isn't as good as some of the opponents you've played? According to the positional strength, the only positions that Pawtucket has that are even average in the BLB are Dusty Akkerman and Antonio Melendez, who are both playing well (pacing 3.2 WAR, and 7.9, respectively). The rest of the roster ranks as follows: 16th, 15th, 23rd, 21st, 19th, 24th, 14th and 17th. Remember, this is a 24 team league, so anything worse than 12th, is below average.

Lastly, your schedule has featured: Wilmington (17-15), Hartford (15-16, made the last four playoffs), SDR (17-14, defending champs), Indy (19-12), Carolina (18-13), Washington (20-11) and Pittsburgh (24-8, league best). Against those opponents Pawtucket is 5-17. Against Montreal (11-21), New Orleans (11-20) and Maine (16-15 with a negative run diff), Pawtucket is 7-2. Just over the next six weeks, the Patriots play Toronto (11-20), Cali (10-23), Denver (9-22), Montreal (11-21) and Syracuse (12-19). Pawtucket also has +7 home games remaining the rest of the way and T-6th easiest remaining schedule in the entire BLB.

Plenty of time for some Funclown magic.

2-4 home sim for Seattle against California and surging Phoenix.

Might have to make a few moves earlier than I had hoped....

5-2 for the Bats and we have vaulted into first place, a half game ahead in the division (and for the best record in the IL). With my road heavy start just about over, I'm happy with where this team stands.

We had our second IL POTW, as Kaden Gaston went on a tear to win the award this sim. We're 4th in runs scored in the IL thus far, after finishing 8th in runs last year. On the pitching side, we're 1st or 2nd in almost every category, so replacing Stokes and Borchers is going ok so far.

The big negative for me so far is injuries. I thought I'd get Justin Babbage back in to the lineup this sim, but his injury has been updated to an "unknown" return date. I lost another reliever as Tom Vaughn is down for 5 weeks. He'll join Ian Rockwood on the DL as my bullpen is getting hit by injuries in the early going.

I think he was briefly on the list a couple of offseasons ago, but hasn't appeared since. With good reason, since he hasn't been any good.
