Not over shocked on where 2B Pena ended up . One of the 4 teams that could easily absorb his contract. Top player and instantly plugs an IF hole.

Pawtucket kept it lighter signing 29 year old Intl Phenom 3B Brendan Morin. Not even sure this guy sticks to the major league roster, but looking for any lefty IF bench bat that could help us thru the year.

I'm thrilled to get Pena. It wasn't really the plan to spend big on one player, but I couldn't resist and hopefully he'll be the star player that I think I'm paying for. He'll slot into the middle of my lineup and should instantly help a lineup that was really disappointing for me this past year. I just have to hope that his age doesn't become a factor early in this contract, but it's worth the risk.

I also signed a second international free agent in RP Reggie Chao. My scout likes him significantly more than OSA, but he's going to need some time to hit his potential most likely. If he gets there, I think I'm getting a really good left-handed reliever.

I'm surprised to get either one, really. Happy with how it played out, but now I've got to find some players to fill other spots with little money left to spend.

Nothing too exciting in Seattle. We scooped up a pair of 23yo SPs in Zach Williams and Abraham Gottmo. They immediately became my 4th and 5th top pitching prospects, which is actually a bit concerning.

Baltimore picked up some RH thumper, Jaylin Richardson to bat DH opposite of Bruno. He may go on waivers by ST if we find someone who can do more than mash but for now he's here.

Also, apparently guys get cut from college teams too?

Ya I'm not really sure how the feeder leagues always operate. As long as he was undrafted and returned to school he's open season. If you spot anyone avail that wasn't let me know please.

Jaylin Richardson always annoyed me on this team. I'm sure he'll do well in Baltimore.

Yeah I didn’t look at his history card until after we signed him. Just something I’ve never noticed before .
