Yeah, Pat Reardon didn't make the ballot, so I'll take this shot to pimp him to you and Jim.

Reardon is 2-1 with 15 saves and a 2.37 ERA. And all these great stats despite a .338 BABIP! He hasn't allowed an earned run in his last 14 appearances, and in that stretch he has 13 decisions - 12 saves and 1 win. Sounds like an all star...

Pleased at the results so far for the Colonials... Harcourt is in and Danny Nelson looks very good. Magness is right on the edge... as is Martin Carlton.

The one player (besides the 5 above) that I would submit for Manager Pick consideration is Joshua Poling.

In the 18 Offensive Categories listed in-game, among IL 3B's, Poling rates:

      1st - 2x
      2nd - 5x
      3rd - 7x

      That's 14 Top 3 appearances out of 18. And the 4 he doesn't appear.... SB & 3B (no shock... he runs like a 3B)... BB's (he's 5th).... and K's (not a bad thing).
      The Great One!

      To many rings to count...

Esser has made a push into the top 3 for IL pitchers, good to see.

Also it appears that Casimiro Cabezas will be voted into his 8th all-star game. He's been an All-Star every season in this league. I wonder if anyone else can also claim that.

I can claim it... doesn't make it true though.

          Keppel missed 78
          Simmonds missed 81

          Hmmmmm....

I thought Corrigan might have done it, but it appears he missed out in 79.

Ernesto Adron plays for Indy, not Sin City. Just a heads up.

I'm going to be a little biased with the Dallas guys. Lewis is very solid in relief and Albors should be a lock IMO since he's rated very high (7+) at all 4 IF positions.

I also like Cahill, Geake, O'Moore, McGee, O'Fallon & Adron.

Fuentes would be a nice addition to the DL bullpen- he gets the job done when called on out of the pen. He's worked 50+ innings this year and has bailed my team out numerous times.

If the DL wasn't so stocked at catcher, I'd recommend Italo Cossa: .301/.376. He doesn't hit for much power at all but would fit in nicely on this team as well.

I'd go Geake, McGee, Delclos, Adron, Albors, and then 3 other guys.

I will promote Sisk though because he's been baller for me. Made 2 excellent spot starts when Lang and Abe missed time.

It's going to be tough to take O'Fallon. Right now Gremades and Seagarra are already in. Keppell is borderline based on voting. If I was going to take Keppell and O'Fallon, the DL would have 4 1b's.

Right now I'm thinking O'Moore, Joyce, Lewis and Fuentes for pitchers. I doubt I'll take more than 4 pitchers.

For hitters I'm thinking Kubota, Albors, Adron and Isgar (need another IF).

Kubota over McGee is questionable....I can see why you'd take him...just eh.

I'd also take Delclos over Joyce, but that's just me.

Not really. Kubota has a higher average, higher OBP, comparable SLG, higher VORP plus he's an excellent fielding catcher. McGee has more HR and RBI but he's only played 15 games at C.

Yeah, I thought that McGee had him beat in everything but BA, then I looked. Kubota is doing better than I thought.

I'd still go Delclos over Joyce though. Joyce's ERA is a bit lower and he has 1 more win, but Delclos' hits per 9 is excellent, plus I think he has a few more K's. I'll have to look at it more in-depth.
