Pawtucket 4-2. Just keep getting distance from the pack below and I'm happy. Did see we lost our Closer for 2 weeks, but its also why we overspent on RP Mike Dixon. Your up kid.

We've had a terrible run since 8/7. Hopefully, these September call ups can provide some rest without us falling any faster than we already have.

I want to use this server space to congratulate the Tucson Toros (AAA) and Little Rock Travelers (A) on their 2033 championships.

For Tucson, it is their first title since 1988 when they won the second of back-to-back titles. Little Rock last won in 2008, their second title in three years at the time. This is the third title overall for both.

Next up, the league-leading 48-win Mobile Minotaurs in the Rookie League. The squad first needs to get through Puhi in hopes to end the Cleveland dynasty.

Winning in the minors is fun.

Cleveland is going for four in a row but I think they lose early.

Such a fun time of year. Seattle will be at 39/40, with Dave Kolka still on the DL for concussion protocol. But, there are a few intriguing players making the roster that have an outside chance at making the 25-man playoff squad:

OF Jimmy Bolger - Former 37th overall pick of Carolina way back in 2022. The former top 100 prospect is now 31-years-old and after 600+ BLB games for the Tobs he was released this off-season. This year in Triple-A for Seattle he hit .275/.997 vs. RHP while playing LF-CF-RF at a high efficiency. His intangibles suck. He's fragile. And he will turn 32 in the Spring. Because my starting OF is all RH, he has a shot at making the playoff roster if he shows something these final weeks.

IF Jimmy Wattenbarger - The former 5th round pick of Wilmington back in 2027, "Barbwire" was basically a throw-in for the Josh Wright deal as he was on waivers before being discussed. My scout loves his bat and while I don't think I'd ever start him because of his poor defense, he could be a decent bench bat.

RP Ron Wallen - Yes, that Wallen. He's 40 now. Signed a minor league deal and was stashed in Triple-A all season. He still rates really well vs. lefties and he will battle a few other players for the lefty specialist role.
