Trading deadline has passed and well this is who we are now. Some weird, semi cheap baseball team that plays a bit above they're heads (Chemistry?) thats very popular with our fans.

Pawtucket 5-2 . Wish we could of taken the rubber game against Miami, but ripped thru our mental block which the past 3 seasons has been the Syracuse Snappers with a 4 game sweep. Last year we were a crazy 4-14 or something just horrible against them and at 81-81 last season single handily killed any chance of us making the playoffs.

Most of our trades this season AFTER SP Perez has basically worked out for us. See if we can finally get back to playoffs for the first time in 5 seasons.

That seems unreal for a Funclown team.

The key is to get in the playoffs, OOTPR will do the rest.

As stupid as this sounds, I tried to not tank and field a competitive team the prior 4 seasons. I was just broke. Wasn't trade everyone for draft picks usual stuff. So I ended up with 2 "eh" seasons and 2 really bad ones (Ok that 2nd bad season I said fuck it and traded people cuz I was done).

If you build the same way each time kind of gets boring.

Right now a simple playoff appearance will suffice and go from there. I don't have a super high team salary no longer.

                Thanks Brad!

The Pilots go 3-3 against Washington and Los Angeles to maintain a four game lead in the Bock. 3B Johnny "Big Stick" Swope has now hit nine HRs in his last 10 games, including a streak of eight HRs in a seven game stretch. On July 9th his season OPS dropped to .831. On August 20th, it hit .978.

All three minor league teams have made the dance. But I'm ready for those to be over and rosters to expand.
