Got back SP Perez only to lose SP Jackson who of course was hot and IRONMAN for 3-4 weeks. Think or new "prevention" doctor sucks.

3-3. Been kind of the month I expected after a really good May. We can really use one BIG trade and that person hasn't responded yet.

What really sucks is seeing those SAME poorly performing players actually increase. Then you really get mad.

Won’t help if Jamari Mendoza keeps this shit up. Encouraging nonetheless.

I have a major deal on the table, just waiting to hear back is all.

If I hear nothing who knows maybe some bullpen help?

Were having a good season for sure (Matt said we'd be last for the 2 past seasons), but its been alot of shuttling, finding crazy matchups, smoke and mirrors, ect. Would be nice to actually have one or 2 stars eventually.

Good news is our financial position more and more with each passing sim. Our team budget is actually 4ml higher for next season.

Sadly we can't just do $20 a ticket and be done with it.

You and me both... We were at $11 last year, made it to a playoff game... Bumped it to $12, and the season tickets dropped 25%... Dick head fans!

Hard to top this right now. Falloon makes the top 20 list and immediately falls out. Braunscheidel makes the top 20 pitchers, immediately falls out. Bess with a sub .700 OPS against RHP...Porter, with 65/65 and 70/70 contact/gap scuffling like an asshole out of nowhere. Scott pitching like a dillhole. Rocco not improving.

The Top 20 list is strange. At the start of the season it does a major update, then it changes based on performance but I feel it’s flawed. I also think there probably isn’t a big difference between say the #13 hitter and the #40 hitter. Because of that, you routinely see names that are in the #16-#20 range come on and off the list all year long, with new names making appearances.

But the top 20 list is strange. I know on the Opening Day sim, Batavia FA SP David Payette made an appearance in the top 20, I think in the mid-teens. He's on pace for a 2.63 ERA, 1.09 WHIP, 253 IP, 150 ERA+ and a 5+ WAR. Those would all be career bests. But he is nowhere to be found on the list.

As for the Racers... Falloon is on pace for a 6+ WAR, so the Top list means little. Brauns is on pace for a career year and just turned 25. Rocco is only 23. I also spent a #1 pick on a SP in Joey Seymour. At 22 and 23 he posted pretty pedestrian numbers. From 24-27 he hinted at greatness. It really wasn't until he turned 28, or even now at 29, that he is starting to reach his full potential.

Scott seems ok? His .315 BABIP is the highest of his six year career. He had two really bad starts (8 ERx2). Bess has been bad. 3 BB to 54 SO. Catchers can age quick. As for Porter, I don't know what's going on. This was one of Z's biggest complaints with OOTP. His personality is high greed. Is he playing bad because he feels underpaid? Is he pressing because he wants to cash in on a big arbitration number? Does he want a long term deal? Would he be hitting better if he was batting in a different spot? Did his cat just die? Could my scout tell me something? Can the player tell me anything? What is it! I'm currently going through the same thing with OF Jimmy Jeffs. No change in ratings. No injuries. Only 27. He's a CAREER .330/.881. This year, .242/.672.
